Hi, I’m Rondre’a Peebles. A journalist, storyteller, and aspiring sports reporter with a deep love for the games, people, and moments that make sports matter beyond the scoreboard.

My ultimate goal is to work as a sports reporter and sideline reporter, but I’m just as focused on the steps it takes to get there as I am on the destination. Right now, that means learning by doing! Reporting in real time, producing broadcast packages, sharpening my writing, and getting comfortable telling stories on camera and behind the scenes.

I’m currently studying Journalism & Electronic Media with a concentration in sports communication, where I’ve gained hands-on experience in TV news, reporting, and digital storytelling. From covering games and campus stories to working live shows and interviews, I’m building a strong foundation rooted in accuracy, preparation, and professionalism.

What sets me apart is my curiosity and work ethic. I care deeply about telling stories the right way; doing the research, asking the right questions, and showing up prepared every time. I value teamwork, accountability, and continuous growth, and I’m always looking for opportunities that will challenge me and make me better at my craft.

I know I’m still early in my career, but I’m intentional, motivated, and hungry to learn. Every opportunity, whether an internship, fellowship, or entry-level role, is a chance to get my foot in the door, strengthen my skills, and move one step closer to the career I’m working toward.
